The YFC Comedy Cafe is an annual fundraising event that helps fund the ongoing ministry of Central Iowa Youth for Christ. This unique event combines coffee and delicious desserts with family friendly comedy and a creative program that highlights young people and tells the YFC Story. YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ, and commitment to social involvement. Every day at community centers, high schools, middle schools, juvenile institutions, coffee shops, and local hangouts, YFC staff and volunteers meet with young people who need Jesus. We are rural and urban and we are always about the message of Jesus.
Youth for Christ Georgia Peaches Fund Raiser
Come out and support Youth For Christ by buying just pulled off the tree, fresh, and juicy Georgia peaches. All proceeds go to help us reach lost and unchurched youth in the Des Moines area. We will be out selling July 9th 4-7pm, July 10th, 8am-6pm, and July 11th 8am until all delicious peaches are gone. You can find us at two locations. Price Chopper on 86th Street in Johnson (5440 86th Street), and Boesen Flowers on Beaver Avenue (3422 Beaver Ave) in Des Moines.
