Run 4 Missions is a 5k race and 1mile walk/run hosted by Grace Church to help local athletes enjoy the campus at Grace Church and help cover the costs of students going on missions trips locally and around the world. The race is designed to be family friendly yet, timing chip competitive. With a kids race following the 5k and breakfast for all, it makes a great start to a Saturday morning.
Cold Run for Warm Meals
The Cold Run for Warm Meals is a 2.5 mile run or walk benefiting the WesleyLife Meals on Wheels program which delivers approximately 900 warm, nutritious meals to senior citizens throughout Greater Des Moines.
Hy-Vee Pinky Swear 5K & Fun Run
The Hy-Vee® Pinky Swear 5K & Fun Run connects fitness and fundraising to support kids with cancer in your community and across the country. All ages and fitness levels are invited to become keepers of the pinky swear promise through an inspiring run/walk and family fitness festival in honor of All-Star kids with cancer!
The event is non-competitive and untimed.
All participants receive:
- Fundraising Packet with All-Star trading cards
- Participant t-shirt and bib
- Race bag
- Finishers medal
