Greetings! ’Tis the season to be grateful, and here at Pulse 101.7FM we give praise to God for so many things!
2020 has been an adventure and a challenge for the Pulse Crew as it has likely been for you. I remember hearing someone say on one of my first zoom meetings in March that “extraordinary times call for extraordinary work.” That’s exactly what I’ve seen our team do time and again over the past several months:
How did we pivot when we realized we couldn’t do our regular CityStops since so many events were canceled? Our team put our heads together and came up with several meaningful ideas for outreach, including Pulse Parades, where we brought socially distanced dance parties to kids in neighborhoods all over our listening area. We also blessed dozens of high school seniors with on- air shout outs and a unique Class of 2020 t-shirt.
We worked hard to be as relevant and encouraging as possible on the air. With people tuning in for encouragement in the car, at home and at work, we heard from many listeners thanking us for the positivity and reminders of hope as they began to navigate such an unusual time.
We also reached out to our community partners to see how we could be helpful beyond on-air interviews. We participated weekly with campers at Wildwood Hills Ranch, broadcasted live at an open house for Freedom For Youth, teamed up with Aspen Aire to give away another free furnace this fall, and signed on as a secondary location to help Hope Ministries collect food for their annual Thanksgiving meal. What amazing opportunities to encourage and be encouraged!
As always, God provides for the Pulse 101.7FM mission through your prayers and financial support. With strong year-end giving, we’ll remain on-pace to fund all the important outreach that Pulse provides. Click here to donate, and thank you for your continued support!
Praying blessings upon your heart and home,
