CityStop season has been in full swing and we’ve loved the people we’ve been able to meet and get to know this summer! This week was no different and I had a great time at the Stops I made.
The first CityStop I swung by was a Family Appreciation Day for an awesome daycare. Not only were the kids adorable but it was really cool to see the appreciation the parents had for positive, good music that their kids were able to listen to. I enjoyed this Stop, and I even got to help cut a watermelon for their event, luckily, no one was harmed in the creation of the diced fruit!
The next CityStop was for VBS: Blast Off! I wish I had snagged a picture of their set up, but they had a sweet rocket ship, twice my height and size, and just a great stage for their event. I love to to also see those willing to serve our communities, especially the kids in our communities, and this group were definitely those people.
The final CityStop we had this week was our Pulse Sticker Stop on Sunday from 1-3 at the Orange Leaf on Mills Civic! It was really cool to have great interactions and moments with Pulse listeners who came by cause they heard about it through our station. But some of my favorite times during this event were when a new listener dropped by, or someone who hadn’t heard of our station before heard the music and loved it! Overall, it was a great event and we really appreciate partnering with Orange Leaf to bring FREE fro-yo and great music to our community!
It was a great weekend, and this week will be another awesome one!
