Can you believe we are talking about Winter Jam already?! The 2016 artist lineup and tour dates will be announced in just a few days. Get your friends together, grab some grub and be one of the first to know all the details by hosting an official Winter Jam house party!!! It’s free to do and you can sign up here! If you are unable to host an official house party, you can still sign up to watch the live announcement and see performances from select WJ16 artists. This all goes down Monday October 26th at 7pm! Don’t miss out!
With the weather cooling down, I have slowly started to pull out my scarves, leggings, sweaters and thicker covers. Ahhh… there is nothing quite like a good, warm cover! This got the music part of my brain thinking: I really enjoy when an artist that I love covers a song that I love… with a little something extra! 😉 Check out this list of really good covers! They are either Pulse songs you know or Pulse artists you just can’t get enough of. Enjoy!
P.S. – Be sure to stay tuned to this post, as the list may grow! If YOU have heard a cover done by a Pulse artist, let us know about it! Email the details to email@example.com .
Hollyn-All I Need Is You (Lecrae)
Chris August- Feel It (Toby Mac)
Jordan Feliz- Brother (NEEDTOBREATHE)
Red- Ordinary World (Duran Duran)
KJ-52 ft. Emily Irene from Shinebright – So Far Apart (Chorus from Plumb)
KB -Oceans (Hillsong)
Jordan Feliz Ft. David Dunn- Drag Me Down ( One Direction)
I love music with a good beat – something I can bop along with in my car, at my office desk or in the kitchen (when I think no one is watching me 😉 ). But, there is something I enjoy just a little more than that… a really good remix to a song I already love!
Over the years, I have come across some really good remix albums. One of my favorites is The Remixes from Britt Nicole. Sure, Britt Nicole already provides us with some great upbeat music… but this is even a step up from that! It includes songs remixed by artists we already know: Capital Kings (Amazing Life) and Soul Glow Activatur (Ready or Not – ft. Lecrae). You can be sure to enjoy more than just one song off of this album!
P.S. – Love remixes? Be sure to tune-in to Pulse 101.7FM this Friday. October 2nd from 6-8pm for “The Weekend Beat”, a new show featuring DJ Symplicity with two hours of jammed packed Pulse songs you love, remixed!
