The WinterJam 2017 Tour Spectacular is coming to Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines this Friday, and you may have questions you are looking for answers to to be best prepared for the awesome event. Don’t worry, friend, we have got you covered with some of the most frequently asked questions attendees have below!
I don’t want to be in the long lines, can I pre-order tickets?
Yes and no… the $10 tickets can only be bought at the door (Cash only, cards are not accepted for general admission purchases!) and do not guarantee a specific seat or section. However, there are Jam Nation passes that can be purchased for $50. Find more details for this here.
Where should I park?
There are some parking ramps located within a couple blocks of Wells Fargo Arena. Most of these take cards for payment, but the north lot across the street from the Arena only accepts cash. Be prepared for a little bit of search and go the later it takes to get there!
If it’s general admission I can save seats for my friends further back in the line, right?
No. Though if you and your party has arrived and laid your coats down as you go to get food, use the restrooms, etc., we assume most would be courteous to allow people to stay in their seat!
What is there to buy at WinterJam?
All WinterJam artists will have a merchandise booth, if not multiple. Not only will there be merchandise for purchase, but there will be plenty of vendors to purchase food and beverages from. Budget accordingly, friend!
I’ll just bring my own food and drink, that should be all right… right?
These are actually not generally permitted. Certainly it will be a case-by-case scenario, but generally the arena does not allow outside food and drink.
We’re excited for a great event and we can’t wait to see you there! Dress warmly, bring your friends, and enjoy an awesome night!
